Instructions: 

• Position latch in desired location to check that the latch will fit and function as intended. The latch is positioned in the side of the door whilst the strike is rebated in the door jamb providing concealed latching.
• Using a pencil mark the outline of the latch against the door.
• Using a chisel carefully rebate area to accomodate the latch. Take care not to rebate more than 3mm deep.
• Using a drill and 19mm drill bit, drill a hole in the side of the door 35mm deep to accommodate the latch cylinder.
• Position latch and fasten with screws provided.
• Position the strike plate against the door jamb to engage the latch. Using a pencil mark the area for the strike plate and the hole for the latch.
• Using a chisel and a hammer rebate the area for the strike to a depth of 1mm and the hole for the latch to a depth of 6mm.
• Position strike plate and fix using screws provided.
