I ordered two small light bulbs on line as nobody seemed to stock the ones I needed..
They arrived in a day!
It is so gratifying to find a hardware store that genuinely cares about its customers.
I am also glad to see so many positive reviews.
I live in Crows Nest but I will now make a trip to Double Bay just to check these guys out.
I noticed a review by a customer saying that the prices are too high and to go to Rose Bay Bunnings.
O.K. go to Bunnings and try and get some really knowledgeable advice.

Invaluable resource in Double Bay

This is the most honest and principled store I have ever dealt with. I purchased an item on line but unfortunately it was damaged when I received it. I sent an email without photographic evidence and thought oh well that is that. To my surprise the same day I received an email with apologies and I full refund. Can not recommend them highly enough.

How nice is it to be able to go to a good old fashioned hardware store where the stock goes up to the ceiling and the bloke behind the counter knows what you want and exactly where to find it!

The little microwave bulb was not available at Bunnings and the electrical wholesaler had them for twice the price. Win!!!

Rubbish business who don't look after their customers and charge higher than everywhere else. Don't get burned, shop elsewhere.

Rude, overpriced products and small range / lack of products

Lovely people, came in to find a metal screw and they helped in a polite manner.

I ordered 5 wrong size sink plugs. When I called to see what could be done about it, the admin person was extremely polite and understanding. They sent replacement plugs, made it very easy for me to return the oversized ones, and gave me a refund for the difference. It is all my doing, but Double Bay ensured the return/refund process was as easy and pain free as possible. Will definitely buy from them in future.

This store is an oasis in a hellscape of supercars and property developers. The staff are knowledgable, they have been very helpful with multiple projects, and the prices are great.
