Christmas Delivery Time Guide

  • For your best chance for delivery before Christmas by standard post, we recommend make order for delivery no later than 18 December for WA, TAS, NT and Far North QLD and 19 December for all other states.
  • We also recommend cut-off date for express post is 21 December.

For retail customers(DTC)

 

1. Delivery Areas

  • Double Bay Hardware delivers products in Australia. Also some products in New Zealand, Canada, Malaysia, Singapore, United Kingdom and United States. All deliveries come with tracking information. Your orders are dispatched from Double Bay, NSW.


2. Courier Company and Methods:

Australia Post

The Parcel Post and Express Post can be selected durning check out for most products. You can use your residential address, commercial address, PO BOX, Parcel Collect Point to receive your order. Driver comes to our place to collect all parcels each business days.

a: Parcel Post and Parcel Post + Sign

This service offers regular speed delivery. It normally takes 2-8 business days to delivery your order in Australia, when 5-10 business days outside of Australia. Tracking information is provided. "Authority to leave" is settled as default.

b: Express Post and Express Post + Sign

This service offers fast speed delivery. It normally takes 2-4 business days to delivery your order, when 3-6 business days outside of Australia. Tracking information is provided. "Authority to leave" is settled as default.

***Signature on delivery options:

The Sign on delivery service is set to authority to leave by default. You can leave a note with your order if you do not prefer authority to leave. The following three options can be selected. 

1. Authority to leave
Driver will get a signature when you are home. If you are not home, driver will leave the parcel in a safe place if one is available. If a safe place isn’t available, driver will leave a notification card and take the parcel to a nearby Post Office.

2. Authority to leave - can be requested by you
Driver will get a signature when are home. If you are not home, driver will only leave the parcel in a safe place if you has requested this when made order. If you don’t request this, then driver will leave a notification card and take the parcel to a nearby Post Office.

3. Signature required (card if not home)
If you are home, driver will need to sign for the parcel. If you are not home, driver will leave a notification card and take the parcel to a nearby Post Office.

 

StarTrack Same Day Metro Delivery in Sydney

We use StarTrack service to provide same day delivery service in Sydney metro areas. Please click this link to check coverage. The cutting time is 3PM during business days. The order weight is under 125Kg, and length is under 1.2M. Please contact us to quote postage for this service.

 

3. In Store Pick Up

  • The product comes with "In Store Only" ribbon, means this product cannot be shipped, due to oversize or highly flammable. These kind of products can be ordered online, but picked up only, not for shipping.
  • Local pick up service is available. The pick up address is 406 New South Head Road, Double Bay, NSW, 2028. The available time is 10am-6pm, 7 days. Except public holidays. Normally, the pick up will be available in 1 hour.


4. Free Shipping Conditions:

  • "Free shipping over $20 in AU" campaign is valid for Goddards collection and Antiquax collection only.  
  • During free shipping campaign, terms and conditions may applied for free shipping in Australia. Express post is not valid for any free shipping campaign. 
  • "Free shipping over $20 in AU" campaign is not available for customers outside of Australia.
  • "Free shipping over $20 in AU" campaign period is only valid for a limited time, and subject to terminate at our discretion.

 

For business customers(B2B)

 

1. Delivery Areas
