The Makita DC18RD 18V Lithium-Ion Dual Port Rapid Charger charges two 18V Li-Ion batteries simultaneously in as little as 22 minutes, making it an essential tool for professionals who can't afford downtime. Its built-in CPU reads each battery's memory chip to determine the optimum charging method, ensuring every charge is efficient and battery longevity is protected.
A forced air cooling fan actively cools batteries during charging to minimise charge time and reduce heat stress. An LED charging display keeps you informed of progress, while a full charge sound alert lets you know when your batteries are ready. A built-in USB port (1.5A output) also lets you charge smartphones, tablets, and other devices directly from the charger. Measures 205mm in length for a compact bench footprint.
