Its textured green front lens and reflector body provide a green floodlight effect, with a 30-degree beam angle for directing light towards selected features.

This lamp is rated 80W with an E27 Edison screw cap, 220–240V operation and a 2,000-hour life under normal operating conditions. Check that your fitting accepts the 122.5mm diameter and 137mm length and is rated for the full 80W incandescent load. Outdoor installation requires a suitable watertight lampholder and a heat-resistant rubber flange between the lamp and holder, following the fitting manufacturer's instructions; outdoor suitability does not make an unsuitable installation weatherproof.

Is this Philips green PAR38 80W bulb dimmable?

The existing product specifications identify this lamp as dimmable. Use a dimmer suitable for incandescent lamps and check its minimum and maximum connected load. Each bulb draws 80W, so include the total wattage of all lamps on the control. Compatibility is not guaranteed with every dimmer or LED-only control. Switch off power and let the lamp cool before replacement.

Can this bulb be used in an outdoor E27 floodlight?

The packaging identifies this as an outdoor reflector lamp, but installation still requires a suitable watertight lampholder and a heat-resistant rubber flange between lamp and holder. Check the fitting's instructions, E27 socket, compatibility with the 220–240V lamp and an incandescent load rating of at least 80W. Allow clearance for the listed 122.5 x 137mm dimensions. An outdoor-use label on the bulb does not make an unsuitable holder or complete installation weatherproof.

What light colour and beam does this green PAR38 bulb produce?

This is a green incandescent feature lamp, not a warm white LED. The packaging specifies a 30-degree flood beam for directing coloured light onto selected features. The previous 2700K white-light specification has been removed because it does not describe the green output. The packaging states a 2,000-hour life under normal operating conditions; the existing 460lm value is not independently confirmed by the supplied packaging images.
