Can this Crompton 12V 15W bulb be dimmed?

Dimmability is not confirmed by the existing specifications or supplied packaging. Use only a 12V supply and control arrangement approved for this lamp and the equipment. Do not connect it directly to a household mains dimmer or assume that every low-voltage transformer supports dimming. Check compatibility with a 15W incandescent load.

Can this B22 bulb operate anywhere between 12V and 120V?

No. This specific lamp is marked 12V, 15W and BC on the packaging. The previous 12–120V wording referred to a wider range of different lamps, not an operating range for this bulb. Use a compatible 12V transformer or supply and check the required supply type with the equipment manufacturer. Do not connect it to 24V, 120V or directly to 240V. A matching B22 socket alone does not establish electrical compatibility.

Is this bulb suitable for emergency lighting, and what should I check?

Use it in emergency or specialist lighting only where the equipment specifies a matching 12V 15W B22 incandescent lamp. Check the original lamp, supply output, listed 60 x 105mm dimensions, maximum wattage and heat clearance. It is not an LED or a universal emergency-light replacement. The packaging confirms the rating and code 14752, but does not independently confirm the existing 125lm, 2700K, 1,000-hour or internal-fuse claims.
