The hardened and tempered high-chrome carbon alloy steel blade delivers outstanding edge retention, while the Thru-Tang™ steel shaft runs the full length of the handle — making it 50% stronger than standard Stanley wood chisels and fully capable of withstanding strikes from a steel-headed hammer via the steel striking cap.

The friction welded bolster adds strength and durability at the blade-to-handle junction. The ergonomic bi-material soft grip handle is shatter resistant and solvent resistant, designed for maximum control and comfort across all applications. A blade guard is included and can be wall-mounted for safe home storage.
