- Selleys Grout Stain Whitener is specifically formulated to effectively whiten stains & discoloured grout - so you can enjoy a spotless, white & visually appealing tiled area.
Features:
- Covers and whitens stains caused by mould growth, in-ground dirt, or from spilt makeup or hair-dye.
- Breaks the mould cycle by creating a barrier that makes it difficult for mould spores to take hold, or for stains to penetrate the grout.
- Protects grout from stains - contains a fungicide to help prevent mould re-growth.
- Enables you to change the colour of grey or other coloured grout.
- Perfect for use in bathrooms, kitchens & laundries.
Where can this product be used?
- Tiled areas in the kitchen, bathroom and laundry
How to Use:
- Clean tiled area and grout thoroughly. Ensure that the area is dry. Wearing gloves, apron and old clothing is recommended.
- Press foam applicator firmly against grout and apply even pressure to the tube while moving applicator along grout lines
- Allow to dry for at least 30minutes, then check if sufficiently dry by wiping over with a damp cloth. If product is not dry, allow a longer drying time (no more than 2 hours).
- When dry, remove excess with a lint free damp cloth or sponge, wiping diagonally across the grout line. A Selleys Super Cloth is ideal.
- Reapply where too little product was applied or too much was wiped off.
- After use, rinse sponge tilting downwards under tap. Blot dry and replace lid firmly until next use.
- Allow at least 5 hours before treated area is exposed to water.
Handy tips:
- Initially, two applications may be required for heavily stained or coloured grout.
- For easier removal of excess product from tiles, press damp cloth against residue for several seconds before wiping off.
- For longer lasting protection, avoid harsh, abrasive cleaning of grout lines after product is applied, unless preparing surface to reapply product.
Clean Up:
- Uncured product can be cleaned with water.
- Cured product can be softened with methylated spirits.
