The DTA Diamond Coated Drill Bit 38mm (DCT38E) is engineered for precision drilling through hard, brittle surfaces including glass, tile, stone, and porcelain. With a diamond-coated cutting edge, it handles a wide range of demanding materials that standard drill bits simply can't tackle.

Compatible with glass, marble, granite, ceramic, limestone, brick, hard stone, slate, fibreglass, porcelain, terracotta, and masonry. For best results, keep the bit well lubricated — dip in water every 20 seconds or use with the DTA Suction Cup with Guide and Water Supply (DTASCGW) to keep the bit centred and continuously cooled. Recommended drilling speed is 1000–1500RPM. Avoid excessive pressure during drilling and clean the bit after each cut to maintain performance.
