Match the 230V rating to the intended supply and use a complete fitting approved for a 25W incandescent lamp, with suitable heat tolerance, ventilation and clearance. For multi-lamp fittings, check both the per-socket wattage limit and the complete fitting's total load. When dimming, check the control's incandescent-lamp rating and minimum and maximum total connected load; a single 25W bulb may fall below the minimum. Switch off the power and allow the bulb to cool before replacement.
