The Makita DJR183Z 18V Li-Ion Cordless Mini Reciprocating Saw delivers fast, versatile cutting in a compact body suited to demolition, renovation, and trade work. Powered by any Makita 18V LXT battery, it reaches up to 3,000 strokes per minute with a 13mm stroke length for efficient cutting through wood, pipe, and a range of other materials up to 50mm in diameter or depth.
The DJR183Z features both a trigger switch and a paddle switch, giving operators the flexibility to choose the control style that suits the application. Variable speed is controlled via the trigger for precise cutting in different materials, while the tool-less blade clamp enables fast blade changes on site without additional tools. At 2.0kg and 392mm in overall length, it is compact enough for one-handed use in tight spaces, and low vibration at just 7.0m/s² reduces operator fatigue during extended use.
