The Makita DHG181ZK 18V Li-Ion Cordless Heat Gun delivers industrial-grade heat performance without the restriction of a power cord. Engineered for a wide range of applications — including heat shrinking, vehicle wraps and tinting, paint and varnish stripping, adhesive remelting, sticker removal, soldering, and bending plastic pipes — this skin-only unit pairs with any Makita 18V LXT battery for maximum versatility on site.
At just 1.4kg and 173mm in overall length, the DHG181ZK is one of the most compact cordless heat guns available. A variable temperature control dial spans 150°C to 550°C, while two airflow modes (120 and 200L/min) let you dial in the exact heat and blower speed for each task. Tool-less nozzle ejection means hot nozzles can be swapped safely without touching hot metal parts, and the lock-on trigger button enables comfortable hands-free operation during prolonged use.
