The Makita DBO381Z 18V LXT Brushless 1/3 Sheet Finishing Sander is engineered for woodworkers who demand consistent, swirl-free results with the freedom of cordless operation. Three speed settings (4,000 / 8,000 / 12,000 OPM) are changed with a one-touch electronic control switch, while Constant Speed Control automatically maintains motor speed under load for consistent performance. The 2.0mm orbit diameter ensures fast material removal and a flawless finish, and the 185 x 92mm pad with spring-loaded paper clamp accepts both 93x228mm and 93x185mm abrasive sheets. For dust management, the DBO381Z is compatible with Makita’s Auto-Start Wireless System (AWS), which uses Bluetooth to automatically power a compatible dust extractor on and off with the tool trigger.
