Colour Temperature

Colour temperature is measured in Kelvin (K) – the lower the number, the warmer the white light appears, while a higher Kelvin will appear cooler. Colour temperature generally ranges from 2700-3300K (warm) to 3300-5300 (cool) – and 6500K is daylight.

Equivalent Wattages Between Different Light Bulbs

As long as the technology developed, a LED light bulb can only use 8 watt power but light up similar brightness when a incandescent light bulb uses 60 watt power. There is equivalent wattage between different light bulbs. To stop making confuse, you need to know what wattage equivalent to each other. See the table attached as below.

Bring a traditional candle-bulb look to a compatible chandelier or wall sconce with this Mirabella two-pack. Each bulb has a clear glass body with a visible filament and a plain tapered candle profile for decorative fittings designed for this shape.

Each 240V bulb is rated at 25W and uses a B22 bayonet cap. Existing specifications list 2700K warm white light, 200-lumen output, a 360° beam angle and a 1,000-hour rated average life per bulb. Each measures 35mm in diameter and 98mm long. The packaging confirms dimmability; use compatible incandescent-lamp dimming equipment and check the fitting's maximum wattage and clearance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these Mirabella B22 25W candle bulbs dimmable?

Yes, the packaging identifies these bulbs as dimmable. Use a dimmer suitable for 240V incandescent lamps and check its minimum and maximum load requirements. Each bulb is rated at 25W; both bulbs together have a combined rated load of 50W, before any other lamps are included.

Will these candle bulbs fit my chandelier or wall sconce?

Check that the fitting accepts B22 bayonet-cap 240V incandescent lamps, permits 25W per bulb and has clearance for each bulb's 35mm diameter and 98mm overall length. The candle shape does not make them interchangeable with E14 screw-cap or B15 small-bayonet bulbs.

Does SKU 986189 include two bulbs, and are they LEDs?

SKU 986189 is a two-pack of traditional clear incandescent candle bulbs, not LEDs. The 25W rating applies to each bulb. Existing specifications list 2700K warm white light, 200 lumens and a 1,000-hour rated average life per bulb. The clear glass leaves the filament visible.
