Colour Temperature

Colour temperature is measured in Kelvin (K) – the lower the number, the warmer the white light appears, while a higher Kelvin will appear cooler. Colour temperature generally ranges from 2700-3300K (warm) to 3300-5300 (cool) – and 6500K is daylight.

Equivalent Wattages Between Different Light Bulbs

As long as the technology developed, a LED light bulb can only use 8 watt power but light up similar brightness when a incandescent light bulb uses 60 watt power. There is equivalent wattage between different light bulbs. To stop making confuse, you need to know what wattage equivalent to each other. See the table attached as below.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this Lusion 25W B22 pilot bulb dimmable?

Yes. The packaging identifies this lamp as dimmable. Use a dimmer approved for incandescent lamps and check its minimum and maximum load. A single 25W bulb may not meet some dimmers' minimum load. Do not assume compatibility with LED-only controls or every smart switch.

Will this B22 pilot bulb fit my small fitting or appliance?

Match the B22 bayonet cap, 25W load, listed 240V rating and 28mm diameter by 53mm overall length to the original lamp and equipment instructions. B22 is not interchangeable with the smaller B15 bayonet cap or E14/E27 screw bases. The pilot shape alone does not establish oven, microwave, fridge or high-temperature suitability. Check clearance and maximum wattage, switch off power and let the lamp cool before replacement. Use a qualified repairer if appliance casing or internal components must be accessed.

What features are confirmed on this Lusion pilot lamp's packaging?

The carton shows 25W, clear pilot, internal fusing, dimmability, 360° light distribution, 28 x 53mm dimensions and a 1,000-hour rated average life. The bulb photo shows a bayonet cap consistent with the listed B22 fitting. This is an incandescent lamp, not an LED. Rated average life is not a guarantee for every bulb, and 360° does not guarantee perfectly uniform light. The existing 240V and 2700K figures are retained as listing specifications.
