Frequently Asked Questions

What lighting fixtures do you stock?

We stock a range of lighting fixtures including E27, E14, E40, B22, GU10, and MR16 lamp holders, LED downlight kits, batten holders, linkable fluorescent fittings, oyster ceiling lights, halogen and LED transformers, and lighting accessories from brands including HPM, Crompton, CLA, Sylvania, Tridonic, and EYE.

What lamp holder bases do you stock?

We stock lamp holders in the most common Australian and international base types including E27 (Edison screw, standard), E14 (small Edison screw), E40 (mogul screw, industrial), B22 (bayonet cap, standard Australian), GU10 (twist-lock, mains voltage), and MR16 (bi-pin, low voltage). Available in batten, pendant, and surface mount configurations.

Do you stock LED downlight kits?

Yes. We stock recessed LED downlight kits for new installations and retrofits in residential and commercial ceilings. IC-rated downlights are available for installations where insulation contact is required. All downlight kits should be installed by a licensed electrician.

Do you stock transformers for low-voltage lighting?

Yes. We stock halogen and LED transformers and drivers for low-voltage MR16 and GU5.3 lighting circuits. When replacing a halogen transformer with an LED driver, ensure the driver is compatible with the LED lamp's wattage and dimming requirements.

Do I need a licensed electrician to install lighting fixtures?

In Australia, any electrical work involving fixed wiring — including installing or replacing ceiling light fittings, downlights, and batten holders — must be carried out by a licensed electrician. Replacing a lamp or globe in an existing fitting is generally considered a DIY task, but any work involving wiring connections requires a licensed tradesperson.

Expect good results from this silver cleaner

Old tried and true polish that my grandmother used to clean her silver. I have tried other brands and I have found Goddard to be the best.

Scissors you will use for multiple tasks

These small scissors are so handy they should be in everyone’s utensil drawer. They are great for unpicking stitches, trimming off dead leaves and buds on plants and doing absolutely any job that requires a small blade. I love them I had a pair that I lost and now I have replaced them.

Great to find quality dish mops

Great to find quality dish mops. They aren’t easy to locate. Do the fragile and non-dishwasher items well. Can recommend this item.
