Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best type of light bulb for home use?

LED bulbs are generally the best choice for most homes because they use less energy, last longer and provide excellent brightness compared with older lighting technologies.

What colour temperature should I choose?

Warm White (2700K–3000K): Living rooms and bedrooms
Cool White (4000K): Kitchens and laundries
Daylight (5000K–6500K): Garages, workshops and task lighting

How do I know which bulb fitting I need?

Check the fitting code printed on your existing bulb or light fitting. Common types include E27, B22, E14, GU10 and MR16.

Are LED bulbs compatible with dimmers?

Many LED bulbs are dimmable, but you should always check the product specifications and ensure your dimmer is LED-compatible.

Expect good results from this silver cleaner

Old tried and true polish that my grandmother used to clean her silver. I have tried other brands and I have found Goddard to be the best.

Scissors you will use for multiple tasks

These small scissors are so handy they should be in everyone’s utensil drawer. They are great for unpicking stitches, trimming off dead leaves and buds on plants and doing absolutely any job that requires a small blade. I love them I had a pair that I lost and now I have replaced them.

Great to find quality dish mops

Great to find quality dish mops. They aren’t easy to locate. Do the fragile and non-dishwasher items well. Can recommend this item.
