The frosted glass obscures the filament compared with clear glass, while the E27 Edison screw cap suits fittings designed for a 230V, 60W incandescent lamp.
Measuring 35mm in diameter and 95mm in overall length, the bulb provides 360° light distribution and a 1,000-hour rated average life. Match the 230V rating to the intended supply and use a complete fitting approved for a 60W incandescent lamp, with suitable heat tolerance, ventilation and clearance. For chandeliers, check both the per-lamp wattage limit and the complete fitting's total load. When dimming, check the control's incandescent-lamp rating and minimum and maximum connected load, counting each bulb as 60W. Switch off the power and allow the bulb to cool before replacement.
