Each bulb is rated 5W; two operating together have a combined rated load of 10W. Match the original bulb's wedge shape, contact arrangement, dimensions, voltage and wattage before ordering rather than assuming universal vehicle compatibility. For automotive use, the compatible 12V vehicle circuit supplies the power; a separate mains transformer is not normally part of that installation.
