Colour Temperature

Colour temperature is measured in Kelvin (K) – the lower the number, the warmer the white light appears, while a higher Kelvin will appear cooler. Colour temperature generally ranges from 2700-3300K (warm) to 3300-5300 (cool) – and 6500K is daylight.

Equivalent Wattages Between Different Light Bulbs

As long as the technology developed, a LED light bulb can only use 8 watt power but light up similar brightness when a incandescent light bulb uses 60 watt power. There is equivalent wattage between different light bulbs. To stop making confuse, you need to know what wattage equivalent to each other. See the table attached as below.

⚠️ Important: These are 12V automotive bulbs for a compatible 12V vehicle electrical system. They must not be connected directly to 240V mains or a 24V vehicle circuit. The compatible vehicle circuit supplies 12V; a separate household transformer is not normally part of installation.

This LION pack contains two clear twin-filament incandescent automotive bulbs for compatible stop/tail lamp assemblies. The supplied packaging identifies LT039W12, 12V, 21/5W and a bayonet fitting. Each bulb has separate 21W stop and 5W tail filament ratings, not a single 21.5W rating.

Match the exact vehicle and lamp assembly's specified bulb, bayonet pin positions, contact arrangement, voltage and wattage before purchase. The supplied image does not establish a standardized cap code or dimensions, so none is assigned. With two bulbs operating, the rated load is 42W for their 21W filaments or 10W for their 5W filaments; if both filaments in both bulbs operate simultaneously, the combined rated load is 52W.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these bulbs dimmable, or how are the two brightness levels controlled?

Dimmability is not confirmed and the dimming field remains blank. Each bulb has separate 21W and 5W filaments for the compatible vehicle's stop/tail circuits. These are separate filament ratings, not a universal dimmer function. Use only the vehicle manufacturer's specified circuit and bulb; compatibility with electronic monitoring, PWM controls or aftermarket dimmers is not established.

Will these 12V bayonet bulbs fit my vehicle?

Check the exact vehicle and lamp assembly's replacement specification, including 12V supply, 21/5W twin-filament rating, bayonet pin positions, contact arrangement and physical size. The supplied photo does not establish a standardized cap code or dimensions, so do not assume interchangeability with another bayonet bulb. They are not for direct 240V mains or 24V vehicle circuits. The compatible vehicle circuit supplies 12V; a separate household transformer is not normally required.

How many bulbs are supplied, and what does 21/5W mean?

The photographed retail blister contains two bulbs. Each bulb has a 21W stop filament and a separate 5W tail filament. Two bulbs draw a combined rated 42W on the 21W filaments or 10W on the 5W filaments; all filaments operating simultaneously total 52W. The 21/5W marking does not mean 21.5W. Lumen output, rated life and dimensions remain unconfirmed.
