Colour Temperature

Colour temperature is measured in Kelvin (K) – the lower the number, the warmer the white light appears, while a higher Kelvin will appear cooler. Colour temperature generally ranges from 2700-3300K (warm) to 3300-5300 (cool) – and 6500K is daylight.

Equivalent Wattages Between Different Light Bulbs

As long as the technology developed, a LED light bulb can only use 8 watt power but light up similar brightness when a incandescent light bulb uses 60 watt power. There is equivalent wattage between different light bulbs. To stop making confuse, you need to know what wattage equivalent to each other. See the table attached as below.

This Bell double-ended tubular strip incandescent light bulb has a clear glass tube, metal caps at both ends and a visible filament along the tube. It is a replacement option for matching picture lights, display cabinets and other fittings designed for this style of lamp.

This S15, 240V, 60W lamp measures 25mm diameter by 221mm overall length and provides 2700K warm white light with a 1,000-hour rated average life. Check end-cap type, holder spacing, clearance and fitting load rating rather than assuming that every similar strip lamp is interchangeable.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this Bell double-ended strip bulb dimmable?

Dimming compatibility is not confirmed by the existing specifications or supplied image. Check the lamp supplier's and fitting manufacturer's instructions for the actual lamp before using a dimmer. Do not assume compatibility with every household dimmer or LED-only control.

Will this 221mm S15 lamp fit my picture light or cabinet fitting?

Compare the original lamp's exact end-cap type, overall length, diameter and electrical ratings with the fitting requirements. This listing specifies S15, 25 x 221mm and 240V 60W, but these figures are not independently verified by the image. Confirm the actual stock wattage because the existing URL includes an older 30W reference. Check holder spacing, maximum load and heat clearance. Switch off power and let the lamp cool before replacement.

Is this a 30W or 60W lamp, and is it an LED strip?

The current title, description and wattage field identify a 60W incandescent lamp, not an LED strip or fluorescent tube. However, the existing URL contains 30W, and the photo does not show a readable rating label. Actual-stock or supplier-label verification is needed to resolve that inconsistency; the 60W field has been retained rather than silently changed. The clear tube leaves its lengthwise filament visible but does not guarantee perfectly uniform illumination.
