Fluorescent Tube

(35 products)

  • Fluorescent tube is a low-pressure mercury-vapor gas discharge lamp, that uses fluorescence to produce visible light.
  • The fluorescent tube converts electrical energy into useful light much more efficiently than an incandescent lamp.
  • It requires ballast to regulate current through the lamp.
  • The fluorescent tube is widely use for commercial and home.
  • It comes in few regular types which included T2, T4, T5, T8, T12.
  • The print on fluorescent tube carries lots information you could find out. Such as F/36/T8/3000K. That means it is F "Fluorescent" 36 (36W) T8 (Diameter) 3000K (Warm White).

I was lucky to find these T5 55w globes, as they are getting scarce, and even luckier to find them at Double Bay Hardware. Great customer service, quick delivery and both globes survived the journey. Globes work great. Thank you.
