Colour Temperature

Colour temperature is measured in Kelvin (K) – the lower the number, the warmer the white light appears, while a higher Kelvin will appear cooler. Colour temperature generally ranges from 2700-3300K (warm) to 3300-5300 (cool) – and 6500K is daylight.

Equivalent Wattages Between Different Light Bulbs

As long as the technology developed, a LED light bulb can only use 8 watt power but light up similar brightness when a incandescent light bulb uses 60 watt power. There is equivalent wattage between different light bulbs. To stop making confuse, you need to know what wattage equivalent to each other. See the table attached as below.

Check table chart

This Lighting Designer clear pilot incandescent oven bulb has an E14 small Edison screw cap and a compact glass body with a visible filament. Its heat-resistant glass and 300°C temperature rating suit oven-lighting applications where this lamp type is approved.

Measuring 25mm in glass diameter and 55mm in overall length, this 240V 15W bulb provides 100 lumens of warm 2700K light and has a 1,000-hour rated average life. Check your exact oven model's approved lamp, supply voltage, wattage, temperature rating and available clearance before purchase. A matching E14 cap alone does not establish compatibility, and a 25W bulb is not automatically a suitable substitute. The 300°C rating does not establish continuous operation at that temperature or approval for pyrolytic self-cleaning cycles. Follow the oven manufacturer's lamp and cleaning-cycle instructions and use only its approved lighting controls. Isolate the appliance as instructed and allow the oven and lamp to cool fully before replacement. Use a qualified repairer if internal servicing is required.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use an external dimmer with this oven bulb?

Use only the oven manufacturer's approved lighting and control arrangement. Do not add an external dimmer. Incandescent construction alone does not establish compatibility with electronic oven controls.

Will this E14 15W bulb fit my oven?

Match your exact oven model's approved replacement lamp, including the E14 cap, 240V supply, 15W load, temperature requirements and clearance. The bulb measures 25mm in glass diameter and 55mm in overall length; the 14mm measurement refers to the cap width. Do not automatically replace a specified 15W lamp with 25W. Follow the appliance's replacement instructions and use a qualified repairer for internal servicing.

Can the bulb remain in use during pyrolytic self-cleaning?

Do not assume the 300°C rating permits pyrolytic self-cleaning or continuous operation at 300°C. Follow the exact oven manufacturer's lamp and cleaning-cycle instructions. Isolate power as instructed and allow the oven and lamp to cool fully before replacement.
