Colour Temperature
Colour Temperature
Colour temperature is measured in Kelvin (K) – the lower the number, the warmer the white light appears, while a higher Kelvin will appear cooler. Colour temperature generally ranges from 2700-3300K (warm) to 3300-5300 (cool) – and 6500K is daylight.
Equivalent Wattages Between Different Light Bulbs
Equivalent Wattages Between Different Light Bulbs
As long as the technology developed, a LED light bulb can only use 8 watt power but light up similar brightness when a incandescent light bulb uses 60 watt power. There is equivalent wattage between different light bulbs. To stop making confuse, you need to know what wattage equivalent to each other. See the table attached as below.
This Crompton green GLS incandescent light bulb has a coloured A-shaped glass body and a B22 bayonet cap. Its green finish offers a decorative colour option for party displays and special-effect lighting in fittings designed for this lamp specification.
The 240V 40W bulb measures 60mm in diameter and 105mm in overall length, with a rated average life of 1,000 hours. Check that the complete fitting accepts a 40W incandescent lamp and provides suitable clearance, heat tolerance and ventilation. For dimming, check the control's incandescent-lamp rating and minimum and maximum total connected load; a single 40W bulb may be below some dimmers' minimum load. Outdoor party-light strings must be approved for the intended location and this lamp specification; the bulb itself is not weatherproof. Switch off power and let the bulb cool before replacement.
