How do I fix a dripping tap?

A dripping tap is usually caused by a worn tap washer, O-ring, or ceramic disc cartridge. To fix it, turn off the water supply, remove the tap handle and headgear, and replace the washer or cartridge. We stock a wide range of tap washers, jumper valves, and ceramic cartridges to suit most tap brands and models.

What toilet spare parts do you stock?

What is the difference between a tap washer and a ceramic cartridge?

Traditional taps use rubber washers that compress against a seat to stop water flow — these wear out over time and cause dripping. Ceramic disc cartridges use two ceramic discs that rotate to control flow and are found in quarter-turn taps. They are more durable but still need replacement when worn or cracked. We stock both types.

This is an excellent heater. It’s practical, lightweight, easy to use and gives instant warmth as well as being affordable. The level of heat can be adjusted to one, two or all three bars. These tubes are hard to find. Double bay had them in stock and despatched quickly. Item was as decribed and fitted and worked fine.

I ordered two small light bulbs on line as nobody seemed to stock the ones I needed..

It is so gratifying to find a hardware store that genuinely cares about its customers.

I live in Crows Nest but I will now make a trip to Double Bay just to check these guys out.
I noticed a review by a customer saying that the prices are too high and to go to Rose Bay Bunnings.
