Selleys Storm Sealant with Sil-X technology delivers an immediate waterproof seal on virtually any building material — wet or dry, indoors or outdoors. Unlike conventional sealants, it can be applied directly in the rain to stop leaks instantly, making it the go-to solution for urgent weatherproofing and repair jobs on roofs, gutters, skylights, windows, and downpipes.
Supplied in a 290ml cartridge, Storm Sealant bonds to concrete, timber, metals, cement sheeting, brick, plasterboard, ceramic tiles, fibreglass, and most plastics. It is paintable with two coats of water-based paint and offers excellent UV and weather resistance with long-lasting flexibility. Not suitable for PE, PP, or PTFE surfaces, permanent water immersion, or pressurised leak plugging. Once applied, do not disturb until fully cured (approx. 48 hours).
